PPC tools don't fix bad strategy. They just execute it faster.

I keep seeing the same pattern. Brands invest in Perpetua, Pacvue, Scale Insights — whatever the tool of the month is — and wonder why ACOS is still climbing.

The tool isn't the problem. The inputs are.

No clear ACoS target per SKU. No defined breakeven. No logic behind which products get budget and which don't. Campaign structures built by an agency two years ago that nobody has touched since.

Automation amplifies what's already there. If what's there is broken, you just burn money more efficiently.

This is exactly the gap a senior Amazon Ads manager fills. Not someone who logs into the tool and checks a dashboard. Someone who builds the strategy the tool needs to actually work — product-level targets, margin-aware bidding, a structure that makes sense.

Agencies rarely do this because they're spread across 40 accounts. Freelancers often don't because they're junior. A dedicated in-house hire does this because it's the whole job.

We're placing Amazon PPC managers now — pare.so
