If you missed the TikTok train, here's your second chance.
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is happening right now.
Customers are asking ChatGPT where to buy, and AI engines are choosing which brands exist in the answer.
You're not just competing for Amazon rankings, Google search, or Walmart visibility anymore.
You’re competing to become a cited source inside ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
We’re seeing LLMs consistently reference:
• Reddit threads with real buyer discussion
• Wikipedia pages with strong citations
• Authoritative review sites in specific niches
• Well-structured editorial content with clean schema
LLMs pull from trusted sources. If you're not there, you don't exist in AI-generated answers.
More content won't cut it anymore; you need to focus on quality AND quantity.
LLMs are getting selective about which sites they trust.
Your meta tags, header tags, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt files all impact how AI systems read and cite your content.
The gap between brands that understand GEO and those still playing the old SEO game is widening fast.
If you run a CPG or e-commerce brand, now is the time to audit where you show up in AI-generated answers.
♻️ Repost to help other brand operators adapt to this shift.
