Most Amazon PPC communities are quietly killing your career.
Not because the advice is wrong. Because the peer level is wrong.
If the most common questions in your Slack group are "What''s a good ACoS for beauty?" or "Should I pause below 0.3% CTR?" — you''re benchmarking yourself against beginners.
That''s fine when you''re starting out. It''s a problem when you''re managing $80k/month in ad spend and you need someone to debate AMC attribution windows with.
The issue isn''t that Amazon PPC communities exist. It''s that 90% of them are top-of-funnel by design — built to attract new sellers, not to retain serious operators.
When I''m evaluating whether a community is worth time, I ask four things:
1. Who''s actually contributing? Are they managing real budgets or still figuring out match types?
2. Is there live experiment data? Real operators share test results, not theory.
3. What''s the content cadence? Bursts of activity followed by silence is a red flag.
4. Is it curated? Open-door communities with no moderation always drift toward noise.
The managers we see performing at the highest level aren''t the most online. But they''re selective about where they spend the time they do invest.
They''re in rooms where the floor is high — not groups where they''re the most experienced person in the thread.
If you''re a senior Amazon PPC manager who''s outgrown the communities you''re in, we''d like to talk.
