Asking a friend option on Walmart. Similar to how Amazon had launched in the past the ability to send a PDP to your friends/family so they could give their thoughts via a simple star or scale rating, I have now seen this consistently on Walmart listed as a NEW feature (image below).
Consumers can simply text or email the PDP of the product the product they want their friend's advice/rating on and then the friend uses a sliding scale to provide in essence a Yes, No, Maybe So type emoji vote.
While it does not appear to be a very widely used option at Amazon, maybe there is more to the data insights from those that do use it that can help the AI Assitants like Walmart's Sparky and Amazon's Rufus.
