One of the biggest misconceptions about running an Amazon business is that it’s all about products.
In reality, most of my day has very little to do with product research.
It’s focused on people and systems.
My time is spent in team meetings, reviewing scorecards, and evaluating whether we are on track to hit our quarterly goals.
We constantly ask ourselves a few key questions.
Do we have the right people in the right seats?
Are our daily activities aligned with our long term goals?
Are we tracking the right leading indicators?
Because results are not created by accident. They are managed.
Jennifer and I have learned that scaling an Amazon business requires shifting from operator to leader.
That means building processes, developing your team, and creating accountability through metrics.
Amazon sellers who stay stuck in day to day execution limit their own growth.
The ones who scale build systems that allow the business to grow beyond their individual effort.
❓ Question. Are you currently operating your Amazon business, or leading it?
