The career ladder is changing. 🪜🤖

For decades, leaders started as analysts, learning the business through hands-on work like forecasting and reporting and then worked their way up the career ladder.

But now AI can do a lot of the hands on keyboard analyst work much faster and more efficiently.

So if the bottom rungs disappear… where do future leaders start?

One approach gaining momentum: apprenticeships. 🧠

If AI provides the knowledge, the real differentiator becomes human skills: judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making. This is learned by working alongside experienced leaders.

This shift won’t happen overnight, but the organizations preparing now will be setup for success.

💡 The real question for leaders and HR teams:

How will you develop the next generation in an AI-enabled world?
