One of the biggest mistakes I see new Amazon sellers make is launching products

One of the biggest mistakes I see new Amazon sellers make is launching products based on intuition.

They scroll Amazon.

See something selling.

And think “I can do that.”

That approach creates unnecessary risk.

Before Jennifer and I launch anything, we start with data.

We ask a simple question.

How are current sellers actually getting their sales?

Not just total revenue.

But where the revenue comes from.

Which keywords drive traffic

How much is branded search

How much is non branded opportunity

How many units we can realistically capture

And what the downside risk looks like

For example, a “diaper bag” isn’t just one keyword.

Customers search baby bag, backpack, book bag, diaper backpack, and dozens of variations.

If you don’t understand that behavior, you’re launching blind.

That’s why we built Data Dive.

To evaluate demand, competition, and risk before investing in inventory.

Because successful Amazon businesses aren’t built on guesses. They’re built on repeatable, data driven decisions.

Question. Are you validating products with real keyword and demand data, or still relying on gut instinct?
