Who manages candidates interviews at the moment?
Any brand I speak to I ask this, and 90% of the time the answer goes like this...
"That's me..."
"Do you have much Amazon ad experience?"
"I understand the basics but not really"
This puts brands in an incredibly difficult position. Trying to decipher if the candidate is full of sh--stuff or actually a top level advertising manager.
Not only that, but the sheer volume of candidates you've got to go through can take an enormous amount of time each day/week.
Whether it's CV reading, or interviews.
Smart brands realise they have both a knowledge gap and a lack of time.
They don't take round 1, 2, 3, or 4.
They use companies like Pare to do all that work for them, and they come in at round 5 for a final interview.
To test some skills. but mostly test cultural fit.
This allows them to receive thousands of applicants (in theory), but only speak to 1 or 2.
1-2 hours of work. Instead of 50+.
Plus, an increased likelihood that you've made a great hire. Someone that actually can do the job. Rather than someone who has blagged their way in.
