Amazon just changed how we'll manage ads forever...

Yesterday at IAB ALM, they launched the Amazon Ads MCP Server in open beta.

If you run Amazon PPC, pay attention... 🙃

I have a creative agency and used to think that AI won't affect us... boy I was wrong....

Here's what it actually does 👇

1️⃣ It lets AI agents like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini talk directly to your Amazon Ads account.

2️⃣ No custom integrations. No coding. One connection.

3️⃣ Natural language in, structured API calls out.

Think about what that means in practice:

→ "Create a Sponsored Products campaign for this ASIN with a $50 daily budget" and it builds the full campaign, ad groups, and targeting in one go

→ "Show me campaign performance for October" and you get a clean report instantly

→ "Expand my US campaign to Canada" and it's done

Tasks that used to take 3+ API calls, a data analyst, and maybe some SQL now happen in a single prompt.

The real shift here isn't just convenience.

It's that Amazon is building the infrastructure for AI agents to run your advertising.

Not someday. Now.

They built this on Anthropic's Model Context Protocol, the same open standard that's becoming the backbone of how AI systems talk to external tools.

And as Amazon updates their APIs, your agent stays compatible automatically. No code rewrites. No broken integrations.

For brands and agencies managing multiple accounts across markets, this collapses weeks of technical setup into minutes.

We're moving from "AI helps me write ad copy" to "AI manages my entire campaign workflow."

The sellers who figure out how to use these tools first will have an insane advantage.
