Most Amazon Agencies Won’t Be Bought

Not because buyers aren’t active.

They are.

Not because capital isn’t available.

It is.

Most Amazon agencies won’t be bought because they’re replaceable.

➡️ Execution? Replaceable.

➡️ Tools? Replaceable.

➡️ AI augmentation? Universal.

Buyers aren’t acquiring Amazon agencies to get work done faster.

They’re buying them to avoid making bad decisions at scale.

They want:

• Pattern recognition they don’t have

• Strategic judgment they can’t hire easily

• Control over revenue decisions, not just campaigns

That’s why the market feels “hot” ... but only at the top.

Plenty of buyers.

Very few agencies that actually change outcomes after the deal closes.

Here’s the uncomfortable test:

If your agency vanished tomorrow, would your clients lose execution …

or lose direction?

One gets replaced. The other gets acquired.
