22nd July 2021 - A scruffy unshaved younger self sits on the sofa in Sydney testing recording setups.
I got in a lot of trouble from the now Wife for those headphones.
She'd kindly got us both a pair with an Amazon employee discount code, and after a year the ear cushions were a bit trashed on mine.
Thinking that meant they were done for, I threw them in the bin.
Only to be not so calmly told that the cushions are an easy and low cost replacement.
My recording setup has evolved in the 8 ish years that I've been self employed.
You could say I "insist on the highest standards" ( 🤮 ) a little more now
And whilst the messaging has clearly evolved from Amazon compliance, it's still in the realm of Amazon. And probably will be until the community decide it's one scruffy video too many, and boot me out.
