We see a lot of cheating when hiring Amazon PPC managers.
Here are some things we’ve put in place to help counter this:
1/ Eye tracking and tab movements
2/ Time pressure to answer questions
3/ Director of Amazon level person reviewing responses
4/ Fave to face (virtual)
5/ Tripwire questions to see if they’re paying attention
One thing I’ve observed since we’ve gone from hiring once a quarter as an Amazon agency to hiring every day, is just how much better you become at hiring.
The repetitions just allow that to happen.
Every single day we review 30-50 senior Amazon PPC managers.
Every day we review video interviews and conduct face to face ones.
We’re just putting in the reps.
And as such our process is really dialled in now. To an insane level in comparison to what we had doing it every 3 months.
And I think we can still be 2-3X better still - high bar.

If you want to tap into our process, Pare exists to help brands hire senior Amazon advertising managers remotely.
