Every Monday I send a newsletter that gets read by 50+ people at Amazon. Plus Lego, Unilever, Bose, and a wealth of others. But get this..

It's getting very interesting at the moment as I shift our objective as a business. From pushing the Amazon agency model to pushing the Amazon recruiter model.

Here's a few reasons why I think hiring your own in-house senior PPC manager for Amazon is better than an agency:

1/ Lower cost. An agency typically charges 5X what their employee cost is. If you hire directly you pay 5X less. Simply math, i know. But instead of paying say $15k/month for 40h/week of work, most of our roles start at $3k. So that's three grand in your pocket. Before I even look at them not actually spending 40h/week.

2/ More time in the account. Invariably, a PPC manager won't be spending all their time managing your ads. They'll be shared across brands. Because that's the best way to maximise profitability. If you have your own in-house, they're 100% thinking about you. And dedicated to you. More time does invariably lead to better results. Plus, they can go deeper and help with other stuff.

3/ Better quality. Because you get to choose the person, and you're saving money with a direct hire, you can typically afford a higher quality employee. Vs. paying more for less experience. It's common for agencies to have juniors working in accounts (profit margins), and someone senior overseeing things. If you hire your own person, then you can get someone senior.

I'm writing an article exploring this idea in more depth. if you want me to give you a heads up once it's finished, drop a comment below, I'll DM you.

I've also written a few other pieces on the in-house senior amazon ads manager topic recently here on linkedin. I'll put them in the comments below.

Pare exists to help brands and agencies hire the top 1% of senior Amazon PPC managers.
