You can filter by a brand in AmzDesignKit to show just designs from them (this post became something else entirely...)

When in any design, there's a brand button you can click and it'll take you straight to this view.

Here you can Mary Ruth Organics have a clear template in place for their A+ Premium.

They're using Design Tokens as part of their design to make it easier (and lower cost) to make a new design.

A token example would be module 2, the use of those USP widgets (x6).

They'd design that component once, call it a token, create the mobile version of the token, then refer back to it time and time again.

This saves cognitive load for a designer, ensures consistency, and ultimtely lowers the cost as designers get faster.

These tokens will soon be accepted by ai, in fact they already are in many ways - for those designing in code.

A token is a design decision. They were devised to make developers jobs easier. Because the code needed to be the same everywhere.

Think of the Amazon 'Add to Cart' button.

So if you've got a good design system in place internally, and correct labelling, you can basically now 'talk' with your design. And create new versions in seconds. Because the ai is looking at the code of the design, rather than trying to understand an image.

This means it's stupidly easy to create variations of designs which are exactly the same, but slightly different.

I'm a believer that designing in code, rather than let's say a paintbrush, is a great idea. Because we can just follow existing practices that are working exceptionally well from others.

I discussed this with John Aspinall at AspiCon 2025.

Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco, and pretty much every major ecommerce site in the world, has the same page design.

Image left, title and variations in the middle, but buttons and delivery on the right.

Why do yo think that is? Why didn't they all go bespoke?

Because this is clearly proven to be the highest converting.

As such, don't recreate it.

So why do you think you need to recreate every design already on Amazon, every page that's already working?

You don't.

Take what's working for the top sellers, and copy the idea for yourself.

It won't look the same, you'll be changing fonts, colours, images, icons, text, and product.

If you need those ideas, use AmzDesignKit, it's the largest library in the world of Amazon design ideas.
