Using formulas to make Amazon designs isn't 'cool' but it's a massive time/cost

Using formulas to make Amazon designs isn't 'cool' but it's a massive time/cost saver to ensure your text is readable.

I'm rebuilding our Design Bible at the moment and fully integrating a well-known Cambridge + Unilever hero image optimisation study into it.

I'll also be writing all of these 'Rules' out, so I can then essentially run each design through an ai checker tool and it'll tell me "nope, that's not approved, here are your problems"

This means that we don't need middle managers to sit there approving stuff as much. Reducing costs whilst increase quality, and decreasing design time.

In a world where ai is replacing lots of design work, we need to think of how we can ensure ai follows our Brand Guidelines perfectly.

Within those guidelines we must include what's a fully optimised asset for Amazon or other marketplaces and websites.

This will enable us to reach a point where anyone can become a designer.

Will that be cost effective, you doing it yourself as a brand owner?

Maybe not. Depends how you value your time.

It might be more cost effective to get a designer who's already fully dialled into the ai world to build out your design system and assets.

Especially if said designer/agency charges a flat fee for unlimited designs.

Your cost per design will continue to shrink, month on month, as efficiency increases.

And you'll never need to learn prompting, navigate a new tool, or organise thousands of files.
