Another thing squeezing margins for Amazon brands in 2025.
I think it’s going to be a brutal year tbh. I also think if you’re an in-house employee looking after Amazon in some way (ads, designs, ops) then there could be a lot of risk as brands seek cheaper solutions.
Eg
Internal Amazon ads manager in US with 10 years experience $120-140k/y (data behind this)
Agency that hires in India providing ads manager with 10 years experience $80-100k/year (factual because it’s what we charge as an agency)
Both of those options have benefits and negatives but the impact on margin is quite clear
