What do people working in the Amazon space get paid in the UK?
Keep in mind 2 things:
This is 2023 data based on the UK only.
Indeed tells me that US salaries are typically 58% higher than the UK in eCommerce.
As such you can make some assumptions on exactly what top Amazon advertising people can command in the USA. And see exactly what they make in the UK.
As a brand owner, you are paying for this high salary.
If you want someone with 8+ years experience (Head of Amazon PPC) then you'll pay to access that person via a US or UK agency.
And you'll pay a lot, because they've got margins themselves.
There's nothing wrong with this.
My argument is that a head of Amazon PPC in somewhere like India (where I hire) is not £100k UK. Or £158k in the USA.
As such, you can get the same years of experience. Knowledge. Ability.
But the agency does not need to charge as high a fee in order to make margin.
If your fees are looking a little steep for 2025, maybe we should talk.
