I created a strange style of compensation for our team.
After visiting them in India I noticed that they weren't travelling, or visiting other parts of the country (or world) on holiday.
As a relative traveler I'm always big on encouraging others to explore a little more.
As such the idea of a travel allowance was born.
It's an annual figure, but the catch is it must be split over 3 different trips.
And it's working.
I really enjoy the team sending through pictures of their trips away. Especially as we are fully remote.
And I think I'm winning some partners over at the same time. Because some of the guys have been known for overworking.
A win win.
I won't share pictures of them, that feels a bit wrong, so in a true egotistical manner I'll just put a picture of me up to reinforce the point.
