My exercise motivation has never been lower.

My exercise motivation has never been lower.

I was gyming 3 times a week, cycling 5, running 2, doing Olympic tri’s with a days notice, and eventually ran a 100k ultra (round in circles).

Was, being the keyword. 5 months ago.

At the same time my work motivation was bang average.

I wasn’t accomplishing much and I couldnt really be arsed.

Now today, with exercise at its lowest, my work motivation is pumping.

Today I woke up at 4am with an idea, I’m naming it the Frankenstein Mood Board, and had to go start on it.

I’m starting to believe both work and exercise simply can’t be high in motivation.

And one simply has to switch to maintenance mode.

For me this consists of simply going to the gym. Doing a push, pull, and hinge. Only with exercises I want to do that day.

Sometimes it’s a mere 30 mins. Doesn’t matter. Better that than nothing.

I won’t finish this with some melty “here’s my lesson” preachy bs.
