This mass-applying bs will not work out for you. And if it does you'll likely end up in a job you hate and leave after 4 months.

Put a tripwire question in. Whether that's Upwork (I say put a random phrase as the opening word in your app) or on LinkedIn (where you can use these screening questions).

UPDATE:
1. I tell them the exact answer to answer with in the first step of the job description, under "Apply:"
2. It's structure like this because LinkedIn has a setup so you can select a number (e.g. years experience) and reject everyone beneath the number automatically. By picking 21 rather than 20 for example, it reduces the need to double check if they selected 20 by chance or because they read the description.
The system I've applied for years and it's saved me literally hours of reading CVs, speaking to, or interacting with candidates you don't really care much about your specific job.
