This book was a monumental shift for me. It's 15 years old.
Just like AI, most people have/will never fully absorb, implement, and benefit from the learnings in this book.
Right now, everyone is wetting themselves over chatGPT.
But the vast majority, like with offshoring, won't take the time to fully embrace it, because they're too busy, and as such, won't ever benefit from it helping them be less busy.
I've gifted the book multiple times, and it's often ended up back at the secondhand bookshop within a couple of years.
In 6-months time the excitement will have died with AI tools and 90% of existing users will seldom login to one.
But the remaining 10% will go b*lls deep and enjoy outrageous benefits.
I spent 8 straight months away from my Australian "home" in 2022.
Hiking in Patagonia, surfing in Ecuador, learning to breath in Peru, cycling round the Netherlands, and a number of other trips.
Business grew by 90%.
That was possible because for the last 5 years a lot of my mindset has been around implementing a 2007 book.
And the fact we have an exceptional team in India. Mostly this.
5 years from now, I doubt most will be using AI to better their life.
