Saying no multiple times a day to yourself.

New challenge I saw on YouTube from some psychologist.

Said you'd run 10k. Reach 9k and change the goal to 12k.

Just to get your mind uncomfortable and used to rejecting initial ideas. Not doing what it wants.

Said you'd stop work after a 40-minute sprint. Let the alarm go off and do another 5.

Suddenly decided you want to get up for a cup of tea. Ignore it and go in 10.

It's weird. But rewarding.

Yesterday I hated the idea of running in the rain. Couldn't be fooked in the slightest. Begrudgingly said I'd just go for an hour. 10-minutes in said do "half-mara".

Perhaps it's the other decisions compounding. Perhaps I'm just weird. But it worked.

Even got to 21k, then said, "it's actually 21.1 officially," so ran up and down the road for 150m.

Not .1, but .15. Cus.
