I told the prospect client that he shouldn’t start working with us yet.

Bad salesman?

Perhaps.

He’d been working with another agency for ~5 weeks and it wasn’t booming yet.

I told him it might be unfair to pull the cord on the project after such a short period. To wait another few weeks so they’ve got a good 8 weeks of work in.

A fairer reflection on their capabilities.

Could I have taken the client and got the pay day. Yes.

Would I have enjoyed more gold coins in the business account.

Yes.

Would I be an arsehole.

Yes.

There are lots of good agencies in the Amazon space. Many can solve your problem. Some may be able to solve it faster or better.

But at least give them a chance.

This was 4 months ago.

I don’t work with that brand today.

I assume the chance paid off, or he thought I was a fool and not to speak to me again 😂
