He rambled on for 10 minutes straight about his new online business.
Not once asking a single question or for any feedback. Despite me having told him what space I’m in.
We all fall into this trap occasionally. I’ve done it myself. Eager to share my ideas.
The issue is you already know everything you already know.
It might have made more sense to pepper me with questions. We were on a trek together. I was going nowhere. He could have milked me for free advice.
Alas, he did not.
A gentle reminder to myself ,and others, that whilst sharing your ideas is great, it helps you formulate, asking questions will always lead to new information. Information that can make your ideas infinitely better.
He was building his shop on Wordpress, paused everything to travel cus he had no 3PL, and planned on using a small island off the coast of the UK as an initial pool of customers.
