An incredible feat that very few companies could have achieved. Perhaps no other company.
It's for this reason, along with other comments in the article, that I'm excited to see new potential businesses being worked on by them.
This week they'll launch 3000 satellites into orbit, surpassing Starlinks ~2300.
A future Prime membership could include Wi-Fi and phone plans. Which is exciting and certainly offers value to the customer.
But it's also a touch concerning.
Fingers in too many of our pies.
Imagining a future home where all devices are powered by Amazon smart plugs, all media comes through an Amazon device that has listening capabilities, all powered by Amazon Wi-Fi, all calls/texts via an Amazon network, all Amazon Basic products, all movement achieved via Amazon owned Zoox vehicles, etc etc
