The worst customer database I’ve ever seen exists at my girlfriends mums house.
“Moved or died”
She sells wood. For log burners etc.
Some of her customers are a bit older. So they occasionally die. Sad times.
That customer is worthless now.
The same is true for many email lists. Customers haven’t opened or clicked in years.
Yet you still send them some shitty promo email.
Eroding the value of your sender address.
Just clean it out. Get rid of all the useless emails on a regular basis rather than clinging on for ego-sake.
