Waste your money on Amazon advertising.
I'm seeing many brands doing this because their images aren't good enough ๐
Take this example. A lifestyle image is a good idea.
Start future pacing that customer/prospect to a life with your product inside of it.
That is the objective of lifestyle shots and why they are so important!
But when we cheap out, which is exactly what this is, we disrupt the journey.
Before the customer has even started imagining this nice life with her and him wondering on a nice winter morning. It just falls flat. Because subconsciously she's picking up the fakeness.
It's not even a real picture so the possibility of it happening, even in her imagination, decreases.
Whereas on the bottom. Yeti. Who are sensational at lifestyle stuff.
That's a REAL picture. In every sense of the word.
It catapults the prospect to that moment. Leading them to think...
"If I buy this mug I'll be an adventurer and have mornings like that"
Result: this will lead to more sales. In short.
We've started working with a lot of brands to improve their content, A+, storefronts, etc. But I'm starting to push back hard on any brand that doesn't have high-quality lifestyles.
Because you will never get the result you want. We will never get it. You'll end up redoing it in 6-months cus something "just isn't working".
Bite the bullet and get a shoot done. Your ROI will be fantastic. (Caveat: you still need a good product. A great lifestyle won't help a shiddy product).
