Nothing matters more than your main image on Amazon

Let me explain 👇

The search results page is crowded AF

You may have a beautiful A+ page, exceptional storefront, and sublime packaging

But that won't earn you the click.

If you don't get the click, nothing else gets seen. So it's pointless.

Looking through your own SERP, ask yourself if you stand out.

Your main image needs to draw the click otherwise you will not succeed on Amazon.

This brings me to the question...

How much are you experimenting?

I recorded a podcast with Judson Morgan recently and we discussed this topic in depth. Referencing Netflix thumbnails as an example. Where movies may have 30+ thumbnails running to see which gets the highest CTR.

Obsess over your image to the same level.

Zenify do well here by including mini icons showing different colours. So whichever child asin wins the placement let's customers know there might be a more suitable colour for them.

It's working. They're occupying 2/10 of the pet supply placements.
