Shop Local Small on Amazon is a huge fail.
3 reason why 👇
➡️ $900k per month isn't small. That's the first item I saw.
➡️ The regions are far too large. An adjustable radius would be better and easily achievable.
➡️ Ranking should be different. Perhaps those with less than 50 reviews or new to market. Or less than $Xk revenue.
Amazon provides an exceptional platform for small business owners to make a living. Provide for their family, employees, etc.
There is no doubt there.
But I firmly believe people are happy to pay slightly more for an item if it comes from someone "around the corner".
There is a nice knock-on effect if that's achieved. e.g. local restaurants get a boost after a troubling couple of years.
Beautiful start Amazon, but you've got enough smart people kicking about to make it better.
Now you're all back in the office you can get the whiteboard out.
