Amazon: we're customer-centric

๐€๐ฆ๐š๐ณ๐จ๐ง ๐€๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐š: we'll mark this as Prime. We will wait for you to get to checkout. THEN we will add a shipping charge and tell you it's coming from the UK.

They've been here 3.5 years now. To still offer such a poor selection is pretty dreadful.

But to lead Prime customers up the garden path with an "offer" that is untrue. That's anti-Amazon.

On the desktop app, you can select Prime AU or Prime International. Fair enough.

But on mobile that isn't as visible. So most users are expecting Prime 1-2 delivery.

Additionally, their terminology on the website is not clear. You get 2 day delivery on local items promised. But there isn't any definition of local here.

On Prime Day I had a local Prime item arrive in 5-days. Again, over promise and under deliver. Which goes against everything Amazon standby.

Is this simply the pain point of a colossal operational challenge? Perhaps. Do I think they will get there with selection and delivery? Yes.

Was I seriously fucked off after spending 5-mins putting in new credit card information to then see that delivery is a piece of shit and I need to walk down to the shops to hunt for some electrolyte tablets. Absolutely.
