One reason I like driving Amazon ads to the storefront is you don't have to be concerned with a competitor stealing that customer.

If I ran a small range of products for a brand I'd focus really hard on making A+ like pages on my storefront. So the customer can answer all of their questions without having to visit the detail page.

Then you can have a buyable image (the one where they can click add to basket without leaving the page) and convert the customer before a competitor weasels in.
