I’d personally like to go on more podcasts. It’s good to position yourself as a thought leader, it gets your personal brand in front of a wide audience with evergreen content, and it’s good craic (fun).
That’s my selfish and honest answer behind wanting to be on pods.
In my opinion the best way to go about this is to a) listen to that pod b) build rapport with the host c) personally send the host a message and put their audience at the centre of that message. What can I offer to that audience.
Don’t outsource this. Don’t send blanket templates. Don’t say you’ve listened when you haven’t.
Michael won’t be coming on my podcast despite him going bankrupt and making “millions”, because Michael is an hrse aole.
