Amazon has one of the world's best interview processes.
The other week I was pathetically attempting to hire 3 people. I use the word pathetically because my interview style had structural similarities to a bouncy castle.
So I asked for help. Fortunately, the Mrs works at Amazon + has conducted shit loads of interviews over the past 6 months.
I certainly didn't give her the respect she deserved for rattling through them with such poise and then make very well-informed decisions on each candidate following the interview, due to the way they were structured.
She shared some suggestions, honestly 5-minutes of help, and every interview following was astronomically better. It was so much easier, I got everything I needed, and I think they had a better experience too.
This got me thinking. What else can we learn from the Amazon interview process. Given they hire some of the world's top talent, they're doing something right, right?
So I invited 🧙♀️GG -The Amaz0n Interview Whizz🧙♀️ onto It's Always Day One. GG conducted hundreds of interviews at Amazon as a bar-raiser and spent 30-minutes breaking down, in 3-4 steps, exactly how we can learn/replicate what they do.
