I’m either an idiot, which I accept I often am, or the purchasing experience for Kindle on Apple devices is like having your hair pulled by an infant.

Just let me give you my money and take my book. I’ve enjoyed the sample, the sample was great, it had all the makings of a nice thriller I can read instead of doing my job. Now why do I have to jump through hoops to make a purchase.

I finished this sample 2-weeks ago, because the experience was so grim trying to get the full thing, I’m yet to commence it again and started delving into a paper version of “10% Happier” instead - which I felt I needed after this fiasco. Side note: a pretty good book.

I’d read that you need to login to your computer to purchase, because they don’t want to give Apple any commission, which makes financial sense. But does this make sense for the customer?

I’ve got a handful of Amazon logins on my computer so this always invites some scrutiny as I enter the characters I see for the 34th time.
