Would Amazon ever consider incentivising off of Amazon traffic to a brand storefront?
E.g. 30% reduction in referral fees if the traffic comes directly from Facebook.
If they’re buying Selz, an e-commerce platform similar-ish to Shopify
And they’re already pushing storefronts more and brands more
Perhaps they could create a new offering that lures people away from having to have their own website at all?
I’ll be surprised if it ever happens
