Why do customers stop buying from you?

Why do customers stop buying from you?
There are a number of ways I can approach this
But you haven't got all day
So I'll just run with one
"I don't need their products anymore"
Ultimately this means that you have potentially solved their problem, which was the reason for them first engaging you
My argument would then be, and this isn't available for all categories, what other pain points do they have?
Take sleeping tablets
"I've changed my job so I don't need them anymore"
Fair point
But, have they fallen in love with your brand?
Have you created exceptional experiences?
Have you baked them into your community?
If you've done this, then perhaps they've got pain point A, B and C
And you've got product B, product C, and product D that solves those pains
You've built a relationship...
You've earned trust...
And you've made them aware of your other offerings, without being a pushy Mum forcing piano lessons (that happened)
Allowing you to hold onto that customer and making them loyal as hell
