Shoutout to Heather Scott on our team for flagging this 👏

Amazon just announced a new pilot program for Seller Central: Virtual Multipacks.

Already available in Vendor Central, this update coming to Seller Central allows brands to sell multi-unit packs of the same ASIN—without changing operations or physically packaging items together. Amazon uses your existing single-pack FBA inventory to fulfill these new multipack listings, which will display as variations on your single unit detail page.

👉 You can’t opt in or join at this time, Amazon is using an automated process to select ASINs for the pilot.

👉 Multipack SKUs will start with VMP_ and can be reviewed (or edited) in Seller Central and may be deleted via the Manage All Inventory page.

👉 All VMP’s will be created by Sept 26, with detail pages going live October 13, 2025.

👉 No extra or reduced fulfillment fees—charged per unit, just like single packs.

Exciting move to meet customer demand for multi-unit purchases while keeping things simple on the operations side. Curious to see how this pilot performs for brands!
