Another benefit of starting with the customer and working backwards is you're much more likely to truly validate your product proposition.
A hurdle too many trip on.
Rather than just THINKING what would my customer want...
ASK THEM.
"I think this will be a good improvement
others will as well I think
let's go ask lots of other people who it might benefit
to see if they agree"
