A little birdy told me that people lie about their ACOS

A little birdy told me that people lie about their ACOS

Us (Amazon world people)...

Like to post their results

But, unbeknown to many Amazon Advertising experts, their facts could be...

Wrong.

A friend recently had a conversation with an internal Amazon Advertising specialist

Who stated that Sponsored Display Ad data is a little inaccurate right now

They said that a view/impression of a Sponsored Display Ad can count towards a sale

Even if the ad was never clicked

This means if a customer views your ad (not click) then purchases organically...

The sale will be attributed to the Sponsored Display Ad

Meaning you get $ generated for the campaign, with a cost of $0.

Thus skewing the data.

So, Amazon Advertising experts, is this something you agree or disagree with?
