You've got to be able to walk away from a failing product.

You've got to be able to walk away from a failing product.
I'm a little different from some of the GET RICH QUICK tossers in my industry...
Believe it or not.
I personally think you should be picking a product that means something to you.
Your brand should have a story and you shouldn't just create a range full of useless sh#tty products that you have no affinity towards.
"It's all about money, pick money-making products" yadda yadda yadda - Industry Tosser, 2019.
There are 2 reasons for my logic:
1) The consumer will inevitably see through your brand if you don't love your product. If there is no WHY then it's much more difficult to achieve sustainable success.
2) When the going gets tough, and it will, particularly if you're picking products based on what the tools suggest, you're going to hate that product/brand. It'll be like that annoying child you wish you never had (my parents likely view towards me aged 4-6). But if you love what you're doing and have a real passion it'll allow you to dig in during those times.
In the same token, if you've picked a sh#t product, there's no point in flogging a dead horse.
