Rufus is getting REALLY good.
When it first rolled out, I wasn’t too impressed, but lately I’ve found myself going straight to Rufus to handle all my Amazon shopping.
It started 30 days ago, when I decided to purchase a new protein shaker. I had been using the popular HELIMIX bottle and wanted to switch to a stainless steel option.
My first query in the search bar produced plenty of results, but most of them weren’t stainless steel. Of the stainless steel mixing bottles, they all required a wire whisk ball—which I didn’t want. I revised my query in the Amazon search bar to something like “stainless steel protein shaker bottle, no need for wire whisk ball.”
The search results still weren’t looking good—I was presented with plastic bottles, stainless steel bottles with wire balls, stainless steel bottles with cleaning supplies, bottle multipacks, and even sponsored ads for regular water bottles not designed for mixing protein powder.
I was beginning to think I wouldn’t find what I was looking for, and as a last-ditch effort I punched my query into Rufus—and BANG—its first recommendation was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Better yet, it went above and beyond my expectations.
Rufus recommended the Stanley Active Shaker Bottle, which is stainless steel, does not require a wire whisk ball, has a strainer for a smooth sip, and a removable base to store protein powder. It’s an awesome product.
The Stanley Active Shaker Bottle is $40 and has 346 reviews (compare this to the HELIMIX, which comes in at $21.98 and has 39,000 reviews). It was impossible for me to find the Stanley Active Shaker Bottle using traditional search, but Rufus understood that I was willing to pay a premium for additional features and served me the perfect product.
Since this experience, I’ve been hooked on Rufus and I’m using it for all my Amazon product discovery. If you haven’t used Rufus lately, it might be time to give it another try.
