Great to see Sponsored Products Video start to show up in some

Amazon

ad consoles.

Unlike Sponsored Brands Video, you don’t need to create a new campaign. You can add video assets into existing SP campaigns through the 'Video' tab.

Not what I was expecting.

This means you:

- Don't necessarily need additional campaign structures

- Can test videos on top-performing campaigns from day one

Some things you need to know to get started:

Video Basics

- Format: MP4 or MOV

- Min length: 7 seconds

- Show at least 1 unique product feature

- Show a human interacting with the product (if possible)

- Product should take up at least 50% of the video frame

Structure Tips

- You can upload up to 5 videos per ASIN

- A minimum of 1 product feature video can appear on an ad at a time

- Label each segment clearly (e.g. 00:00-00:07 "Product In Use")

- Keep transitions smooth (same lighting/weather for all segments)

Delivery

- Amazon may clip a longer video down based on search relevance

- Shoppers may see different segments depending on intent

Naming

- Title for each video segment: Max 3 words, 15 characters

- Description: Max 6 words, 55 characters

48-72 hour approval.

Excited to test this out.
