Target your own ASINs in Amazon ads as a brand defense strategy. Keep them in separate campaigns, use exact match for Sponsored Product targeting, and remember you’ll typically get one ad spot per parent ASIN. Thanks, Elizabeth.

Should you target your own AISNs when running ads?
Yes!
This is often referred to as "brand defense". The concept is you display your own products in the available ad spots so as to push out your competition from doing the same.
There's a few things you should know.
1) Make sure you're segmenting these targets in their own campaigns
2) Typically you'll only get one ad spot per ad type per parent ASIN.
3) Make sure you're using exact match in Sponsored Product product targeting so you don't end up showing on other product pages.
Anything else I forgot?
