SkinnyFit is an up and coming brand on Amazon.

They recently caught my attention due to their explosive growth in the last few months.

(300%+ growth rates on MULTIPLE products)

So I decided to go through their funnel.
That was a mistake ☠️

The original meta ad seemed like a good way to draw in new customers to a product.

"Just pay shipping"

I went through the funnel, added my free product to cart, added my credit card information, and then was shown THIS page ⬇️

As you scroll you continuously see the button that says "Complete my order".

Instinctively, you click this button, assuming you will be taken to the final check out page.

INSTEAD, clicking this button automatically charges your card for the new product that you were not aware you were ordering.

Three products added to my tab unbeknownst to me.
What started as a $7 order turned into over $100 of products.

Not only that, but if you read the Trustpilot reviews, this brand is NOTORIOUS for this type of deception.
If you call customer support and try to cancel you order, they state the items have already been shipped....even if it was minutes after your checkout 🥴

This is insane.

Is the success we are seeing on Amazon simply a reflection of the brand's slimy D2C tactics?
