Best practices for Amazon main images often fail in real testing scenarios. Success comes from continuous experimentation and data analysis, not following conventional wisdom. Testing reveals what actually works with customers.

Everyone Is WRONG about Main Images...

Everyone is sharing wins and best practices - I am showing you the failed tests we ran through Manage Experiments.

Here is what annoys me: BEST PRACTICES DON'T WORK ALL THE TIME!

Nothing can prepare you for what customers will pick on Amazon. There is no tool or expert out there that can predict that - let's stop pretending we know everything.

What truly matters is constant testing and iteration - if you are not questioning EVERYTHING and gathering data, you will never succeed in CTR and CVR.
