Sometimes, we are so busy selling that we do not notice these changes 👀

Amazon has been hard at work enhancing its visual search capabilities on the Amazon App, and the results are actually quite good. There has been a 70% increase in visual searches year over year, which means that customers are loving these new features!

Let’s break down some of the coolest updates:
🔵 Visual Suggestions: As you type a description like “flannel shirt,” Amazon now offers image suggestions. Just click the image that fits your vibe, and browse away!

🔵 Text & Image Combo: Customers can now upload an image and add specific text. Want a beige sofa from a certain brand? Just upload the pic and specify your criteria.

🔵 More Like This: Have you found something you like but want more options to decide? Tap “More Like This” to discover similar products without the back-and-forth!

🔵In-Search Videos: Need to see how that kitchen gadget works? Now, you can watch product videos right in the search results for a seamless experience (just like Sponsored Display 😉)

🔵 Circle to Search: Spotted something in a photo? Draw a circle around it using the Amazon Lens feature to find it directly.

These enhancements not only streamline the shopping experience but also empower customers to find exactly what they want more efficiently.

This is because customers no longer need to go into each listing to check if it is the one they need, but the most relevant information is now in front of them before they click on it.

Do you think these changes are impacting metrics now that customers are searching differently?
