It’s packed with features that most vendors and sellers can only dream of:
✅ Trade-in discounts
✅ Feature overview of the latest models
✅ Variation carousel for different configurations
✅ “Add additional items” below the Buy Box
Meanwhile, 2025 vendor negotiations were marked by a lack of new programmes and innovations for brands to invest in.
To the Amazon executives reading this:
It's time to return to building real value for vendors through meaningful investment programmes.
My work with 1P brands has shown time and time again that investing in base accruals, Co-op, and merchandising fees lacks the return of revenue-attributable growth.
So why not roll out these PDP features more broadly to begin to justify the high base terms and commissions paid by both 1P and 3P brands?
