🤯 Big Fee Changes for Deals & Coupons Coming June 2, 2025!
The costs can skyrocket compared to the previous flat fees.
Amazon is rolling out major fee increases for promotions, and sellers need to pay attention. While the new structure offers performance-based flexibility, the costs can skyrocket compared to the previous flat fees.
What’s Changing?
✅ Lightning Deals: Used to cost $150 fixed, now $70 per day + 1% of sales (capped at $2,000)
✅ Best Deals: Used to cost $300 for 7 days, now $70 per day + 1% of sales (meaning it could cost much more!)
✅ Coupons: Used to be $0.60 per unit redeemed, now $5 per coupon + 2.5% of sales
✅ Prime Discounts:Doubled from $50 → $100 per PED
If your sales are low, you might actually save money since fees are tied to performance.
But if your deals perform well, your costs could increase drastically compared to the old fixed-fee structure.

Sellers must be strategic—shorter deals, careful budget planning, and testing small before going big will be essential to keeping promotions profitable.
