Amazon's new demographic and market analysis tools show who buys your products. These tools combine customer purchase patterns with demographic data to create targeted marketing campaigns and product bundles for specific audience segments.

With the recent upgrades of the Demographic and Market Basket Analysis report, Amazon has opened a big path to understand your audiences at each product level. What age group, income, etc. people are buying your products.

With the upcoming Prime Day (8–11 July) and other events, these 2 specific report integrations will offer huge value in deciding the bundling opportunity and cross-selling campaign strategy.

MBA helps to identify which other products customers are frequently buying together with your target ASIN. And when you integrate this data with the Demography report at each ASIN level, you will be able to identify your audiences at per product level.

Suppose you are selling Low-Carb Protein Cookie and according to MBA data it's getting frequently bought with Keto-Friendly Coffee Creamer & Low-Carb Trail Mix, and combining this with Demography data you will find that your most buying customers are married women aged 25–34, having graduation degree with income bracket of $60–80K.

With this info, you can revamp the whole campaign setup for this particular product. You can update your SB creatives to cater to this audience and even create new SB or SBV banner/video campaigns targeting all 3 products together. Apart from that, you can also revamp the whole SD campaign targeting structure based on the real target audiences.

It will also unlock the new generation audience targeting. Suppose you find out that Gen Z males (18–24) are buying the cookie solo, with no bundled items, you can launch a video or banner campaign themed around ‘Energy Stack for Young Hustlers’.

You can create multiple portfolios based on your audience structure and control the overall spending and performance.

Like the above 2 examples, there are many new opportunities unlocked with these reporting updates. We are building something around this and we will share soon.
