Amazon's CTR image hack is dying, except in Chinese shoe listings. Chinese sellers use dramatic product images with hammers, nails, and special effects in sponsored ads, showing packaging is the new frontier.

Amazon just killed your CTR tactic.

But not if you’re selling shoes in China.

Noah Wickham and I had a chat yesterday.
⤷ The CTR image hack is dying.

But only for some.
⤷ The others? Pfft.

Search ‘work shoes’ on Amazon.

Absolutely insane.

The shoe space has historically been locked.
Locked tight where you couldn’t do anything.
Like not even show two of the shoes.
Wild, huh?

But look at what you see now:
→ Hammers on shoes
→ Nails shooting out
→ Glowing beams

It’s like a James Cameron movie.

And the kicker?
⤷ They are sponsored ads from China sellers.

That’s not me saying random stuff.
Those are the facts, silly geese.

What’s the pivot here?

PACKAGING. PACKAGING. PACKAGING.

More to come on this.

Stay frosty, silly geese.
⤷ The CTR GOATTY will keep you updated.
